Where is the Hieren Mühle country inn located?
The Hieren Mühle is located in the picturesque Ehrbachtal valley in the district of the local municipality of Ney. It belongs to the municipality of Hunsrück-Mittelrhein, which is based in Emmelshausen, a small town about five kilometres away.
The grounds of the mill are surrounded by a lot of greenery, in the middle of the idyllic forests of the front Hunsrück.
The location is absolutely quiet away from roads and public transport routes. Nevertheless, the Hieren Mühle is easily accessible for cars, minibuses, camper vans and motorbikes. From the district road between Ney and the district of Dieler, the paved and direct path through the forest is well signposted.
The Hieren Mill is also ideally accessible for horse riders via the field and forest paths in the surrounding area.
Arrival by car or motorbike
You can reach the Hieren Mühle by car or motorbike via the A61 motorway exit Emmelshausen or the B327 exit Halsenbach.
Follow the signs to Ney, drive through the village on the main road in the direction of Dieler.
After about two kilometres, turn right to Hieren Mühle.
It has a large car park, free of charge during your stay and as a starting point for day trips.
Arrival by train
If you are travelling by train, please get off at Boppard main station and take the Hunsrück railway through picturesque countryside to the terminus at Emmelshausen.
